Summary

Volunteers are needed to provide companionship and support for patients and assisting staff with non-clinical, practical tasks including mealtime support.

Detailed description

As a Patient Support Volunteer you would be providing companionship, company and support for patients as well as helping staff with tasks such as gathering meal choices, support at mealtime and tidying non-clinical areas.


Volunteering for this role involves an ongoing commitment of approximately 2 hrs a week, including evenings and weekends.


To volunteer with us, we will need you to complete our volunteer recruitment, including our Volunteers' Induction Training, completing a Standard DBS check, and providing 2 character references.


You will be supported throughout your volunteering by a staff onsite and by your NCH&C Volunteer Coordinator.
