Give it a Go 2025 - Volunteering Extravaganza
After last years success, join us again for Give it a Go! 2025, and help potential volunteers discover your organisation’s mission and how they can get involved. This event isn’t just a volunteering fair – it’s a Volunteering Extravaganza!
With a focus on volunteer-led activities and opportunities for the public to engage, it’s the perfect chance to showcase your work.

Thursday, 5th June 2025 10:00 – 15:00
After the event, there will be a networking opportunity for organisations from 15:00 to 16:00, with refreshments provided.

The Forum, Millennium Plain, Norwich, NR2 1TF
Tickets to book a stand will be available on Friday 14th March on Eventbrite.
This event is supported by the Empowering Communities partnership. A charge of £30 +VAT for each stall is required to help cover promotional and venue costs and confirm your attendance. Payment is processed via Eventbrite, and we accept credit or debit card payments.
Are you looking for new volunteers to support your charity, community group, or social enterprise in Norfolk?
We’re inviting local voluntary organisations to take part by hosting interactive stalls or "activity spaces" where you can engage attendees. Here are a few ideas to get you started:
- Films and videos showcasing organisations and volunteers
- Decorate stall with a theme
- Pop up banners and posters/flyers/leaflets/postcards
- Demonstrations of activities
- Current volunteers to talk about their experiences
- Games, crafts, quizzes or myth busting
We understand that some organisations may not be able to demonstrate the activities their volunteers typically undertake, such as befriending or health and social care roles. We encourage you to think creatively and offer an activity that will engage attendees and spark conversations about your organisation’s work.
If you’re unsure what activities to offer, we’ll be hosting an informal meeting to discuss ideas with you.
