This session will cover: Who are Norfolk SENDIASS The law related to fixed term suspension and permanent exclusion Local suspension/exclusion statistics and data Legal tests and statutory guidance related to SEND in suspensions and exclusions Overview of managed moves, reduced timetables and illegal exclusions Support that a youth work professional could provide to a young person / parent / carer who are dealing with suspensions and exclusions related to SEND Q & A section. 📆 Thursday 23 April 2026, 11:00-13:00 📌 Online Join Momentum and Break for an informative workshop exploring how VCSE's can power youth work experience This workshop is focused on how VCSE organisations can offer meaningful and supportive work experience opportunities for young people, and will explore good practice, key considerations, and practical approaches to creating positive work experience placements that benefit both young people and organisations. It will be particularly relevant for VCSE organisations that are already offering, or are interested in offering, work experience to young people. The workshop will include discussion, shared learning, and space to reflect on challenges and opportunities when supporting young people into the workplace. Tickets available here ( from 1st March)
