What you will be doing

We are proud to be a partner of the 2025 Norfolk Marathon, part of the partnership requirements is to provide volunteers to help marshal on the day.

Volunteers will be marshalling the event, this could include a range of tasks, but primarily telling people where to go, being a friendly and welcoming face for participants / spectators and cheering on the runners!

What we are looking for

The ideal volunteer will be enthusiastic, confident talking to people, flexible and positive.

What difference this will make

Being a Shelter volunteer with the Norfolk marathon ensures that we can continue our partnership with the event. Having a partnership allows participants to run in aid of Shelter, bringing in vital funds to support people experiencing housing issues and homelessness.
