Hospital Radio Norwich is a small registered charity affiliated to the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. It's purpose is to provide comfort and entertainment to patients through bedside visits and music.
The studio's are based at NNUH and the organisation is run by a management committee of varying expertise including a skilled electronics engineer, a sound engineers, a football commentator and administrator.
The team are currently looking for volunteers who:
- Would love to chat to patient's
- Have some music knowledge
- Would be willing to learn the HRN music system
- Have some basic admin skills
- Might like to learn new skills such as broadcasting or engineering
- Can spare 3-4 hours late afternoon/evenings
