Summary

Providing support to young participants (5 - 16years) helping them to gain maximum benefit from their riding sessions.

Detailed description

The Group provides therapeutic riding sessions for participants between the ages of 5 and 16 years in order to benefit their physical and mental wellbeing.

You will work as a member of a team either walking alongside the rider to provide encouragement and support or as a leader of the pony. The riding sessions are held during the school term only from 4.00 - 6.00pm.

Riding experience is not essential and training will be provided but you must be comfortable around ponies and in an equestrian environment.

The Group will be moving to Kimblewick Equestrian Centre as their current venue will be closing down later in the year.

In addition we would like to hear from anyone interested in becoming a Trustee and Committee member to help develop the charity in this new phase.
