Summary

We are looking to support current or recent University Students to support a young person with their Academic, Social and Future goals on a 1-2-1 flexible basis

Detailed description

We are looking for positive, enthusiastic, role models who are passionate about making a difference to a young person’s life.

As an education mentor you will be paired with one of our students who is aged between 10-17. Meetings can be in-person or virtual.

Each meeting with your mentee will be based around a different theme:

Academic - these meetings will focus on improving the mentees attainment through extra support with homework and academic projects.

Future -focussed, these meetings will help your mentee consider their future aspirations, how can you help them prepare for their future?

Social – these sessions are a reward for working hard. You can choose your activity; would you like to bake? Make a smoothie, get creative?

You will be responsible for organising meetings every two weeks with your mentee, for approximately an hour in length. These meetings would be held Monday-Friday at our IntoUniversity centre or virtually between 3:30pm - 5:30pm.
