Summary

Providing administrative to the charity chairman, handling emails, taking minutes, organising meetings, diaries and supporting at events.

Detailed description

Role and responsibilities

· Work closely with the Chair, assisting with communication between the Chair and the Board.

· Manage the general email inbox.

· Minute the Trustee board and informal meetings.

· Manage the charity diary.

· Help out managing our social media

· Willingness to learn with training and support.

· Willingness and ability to devote the necessary time and effort to meet the duties and responsibilities of the post.

· Good, independent judgement.

· Ability to think creatively.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills.

· Good written and organizational skills.

· Ability to speak your mind with tact and diplomacy.

· Ability to work effectively as a member of a team.

Ideal candidates will show a willingness to take on additional responsibility, including the option to take on the role of charity trustee Secretary

We are a user led organisation , meaning we have a majority of people with disabilities running the charity, who live in and around Norwich. Our aim is to improve the disability accessibility and inclusivity of Norwich and the surrounding areas.
