Event Marshalling for East Anglia Air Ambulance Norfolk Trek 24

East Anglian Air Ambulance are delighted to be returning to Holkham Hall and around the coast and country on 23rd June 2024 for Norfolk Trek 24.

We are hoping to welcome even more supporters this year and are looking for volunteers to help us make our trekkers day the best it can be. You’ll be the friendly face that our trekkers see at the start, finish or at a rest stop. You’ll be handing out refreshments, helping at registration, offering words of encouragement, giving directions, and cheering our trekkers on the finish. You could also be handing out that all important medal at the finish and enjoying that sense of achievement. There is a role for everybody!

Norfolk Trek 24 will see 100s of supporters taking on the challenge of walking either 24 miles or 24 kms, trekking along the picturesque North Norfolk coast. As well as having a great day together we will be raising thousands of pounds for the charity and you can play your part.

We are looking to fit volunteers into the following shifts (you can chose one or all):

Morning shift 06:00 – 10:00

Day shift 10:00- 18:00

Afternoon shift – 13:00 - 20:00

We want you to have the best volunteer experience at Trek 24 and ensure you get the most out of it. We will:

• Be in contact in the lead up of the day so that you know what to expect
• Give you a full briefing on arrival
• Provide meals and snacks as appropriate.
