The Rabbit Hutch is a busy community café in Caister based on the Playing Fields. A volunteer is needed to run the coffee shop on Wednesdays. You will be responsible for customers service, serving up refreshments, taking payments and making sure the café is clean and safe.
This is a great opportuntity for someone who has some time free on Wednesdays and who wants to get involved in the community or meet local people, or even someone that wants to learn and get experience of operating a catering business.
There is also an opportunity to take on greater responsibilities, if you are interested. This might include recruiting other volunteers, marketing and becoming involved in the management of the café.
Full training will be given, and The Rabbit Hutch will provide online training for food hygiene etc.
Further mentoring would be available for anyone wanting to expand the role and take a broader interest in the management of the café, so this would be ideal for anyone seeking to gain skills in catering or to even run their own business.
