We are looking to start a new fortnightly group and need your help!
Do you have a passion for history that you want to share with others ? Do you like helping bring people together? Are you seeking work experience?
If so, you might want to consider becoming a volunteer at The Shoebox.
This group would meet 6PM to 8PM fortnightly on Thursday.
What do Shoebox community volunteers do?
Volunteers are vital to the smooth running of our groups. The role includes:
- Setting up the event/activity
- Signing in group members
- Showing members how to sign up to our free membership
- Supporting one-off events
- Talking with the group members
- Making tea and coffee
- Washing up and clearing up at the end of the group
