Summary

You will support our vision impaired clients in fortnightly tennis sessions at Waterloo Park in Norwich. Sessions will run on Fridays from 11.00am - 12 noon

Detailed description

In this role you will be part of the Leisure Activities department and will support our clients in fortnightly tennis sessions.

You will help to ensure that our clients' individual needs are met to enable them to join in the sessions and be kept safe at all times.

Sighted guiding will be required where necessary, and full training will be provided.

 

We are looking for volunteers who:

  • Will be able to support a small group of 4 – 6 (numbers may slightly increase)
  • Play tennis or have knowledge of the game
  • Have ideally participated or joined in some team sports previously
  • Are reasonably fit and able to easily move around
