Summary

We are looking for individuals to support our Winter warm hub by engaging people in activities and chatting over a cup of tea.

Detailed description

The Wild Hub are running a Winter Warm Hub, once a week for 14 weeks to provide vulnerable families, children and adults a warm space to sit, chat and play. This is for three hours on a Tuesday lunchtime.

This reduces loneliness and increases their positive human connection with others, building support networks within the community.

We will be providing a simple hot meal and hot and cold refreshments, signposting and advice.

We are looking for volunteers to help us make this a positive and memorable experience.

This could be sitting and chatting with adults or children over a cuppa, playing cards, dominos, or board games.

This could be setting up activities for the children or leading games or craft sessions.

If you would like to make a difference to your local community this winter please get in touch, we would love to hear what you can bring to the community space!
