In this role you’ll help provide complimentary therapy to people with neurological conditions.

Detailed description

We are interested in hearing from people

We take a person centred approach to all our support which means each therapy session will be different, however activities will usually include:

· Providing complementary therapies to residents.

· Planning treatments for each person, taking treatment aims, individual needs and preferences, comfort, and safety into consideration

· Getting the therapy environment ready and clearing up afterwards

. Keeping records of therapy sessions and letting the team know if you’re going on holiday.

How often we’d like your support

We hope you’ll volunteer 2 - 4 hours a week, but all our roles are flexible to suit you.

We hope you’ll:

professional association and your own insurance

· Understand and adhere to the relevant professional body’s code of ethics

· Understand the need to adapt therapy to patients with palliative care needs, and have the ability to adjust treatments accordingly
