Priscilla Bacon Hospice Cafe -

 Perfect for an early meeting with friends, a mid-week treat, or a leisurely start to the weekend, The Friends Café in Priscilla Bacon Lodge is a welcoming and spacious place for anyone to relax and enjoy views of our beautiful gardens, which has a peaceful outside space for people to enjoy in the warmer weather. We are open 7 days a week between 9:30am and 4:30pm, serving a range of freshly made meals, cakes, drinks, and snacks. We also offer Afternoon Teas and celebration cakes. We are open to the general public, as well as our staff, volunteers, patients and their families. We provide a great space to meet, along with a friendly welcome from our team. By supporting our Café, you will be helping to raise funds for the Priscilla Bacon Hospice Charity, enabling us to enrich care for those in palliative care and their loved ones.

• Working alongside other volunteers to serve in the café
• Use the Bean to Cup coffee machine, making coffee, tea and hot chocolate.
• Take orders using the till, the card machine, and handling cash
• Serve food and drink orders to customer tables
• Clear and clean tables
• Assist with keeping menu boards and other café information up-to-date
• Ensure the café area is kept clean, tidy and welcoming.
• Respect the privacy of patients and families
