Summary

The Involvement committee is a group of people that have received support from our services. This group supports the involvement work undertaken by the charity.

Detailed description

When: Once a month at a time and length (1-2 hours) that suits those who show an interest.

Where: As the committee will involve people from across East Anglia, the meetings will be held online via Microsoft teams or Zoom.

Who: The Committee is open to anyone in East of England over the age of 16 who is receiving or has recently received support from any of Ormistons services including parents or carers of children who have received

support.


What you will gain by Joining: You will provide invaluable insight and ideas to support the involvement and participation work undertaken by Ormiston Families. By using your experience of using our services you can help make sure we focus on areas important to the people we support. By joining you will develop your knowledge of a local charity, meet other like-minded people and develop skills such as confidence, leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving. The role is flexible so you can just join our monthly meeting or you can get involved more as things develop if you wish.
