Summary

We need you one morning or afternoon a week to staff our Box Office and undertake general admin duties

Detailed description

We're looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to join our team at The Puppet Theatre. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in the background doing all the office functions any organisation needs whilst staying sane in a highly creative world.

We need :

  1. You will answer our phone - we lose so many calls because we are too busy to answer them.
  2. You will learn to run our Box Office.
  3. To undertake other computer-based functions, data recording, etc.
  4. To undertake physical functions, such as envelope stuffing, etc.

What you will get out of it:

  1. Your contributions will directly help us because you and I know good admin is the basis of any good organisation.
  2. Brush up your Word, Excel, and all the other office skills.
  3. You'll work alongside a friendly and supportive group passionate about getting cheap theatre to families all over Norfolk.
  4. We can work with your availability, even if you offer only a morning or afternoon a week.

So are you?

  1. Enthusiastic and eager to learn
  2. Reliable and dependable
  3. A team player with a positive attitude

We'd love to hear from you! Contact me, come for a coffee and a chat to learn more.

Because we need to arrange a DBS check, we cannot take people under 18 - I am so sorry.

Thanks

Alan

About Norwich Puppet Theatre

Norwich Puppet Theatre is a registered charity. As a result we rely on the support of our community to grow and flourish. Our community and outreach work is focused on delivering arts and cultural experiences to children and young people in Norfolk who experience few engagement opportunities. We develop and promote the art form of puppetry and puppet theatre through performances, workshops and education. For many children we provide their first experience of live theatre and create wonder in them and their peers, parents, guardians and teachers.
For over 40 years Norwich Puppet Theatre’s producing company has created new shows for family audiences, performing in Norwich before touring in the UK and internationally. Our Creative Engagement Team works across the county providing hands-on experiences for schools, charity organisations, and public events. Our work provides a creative context which encourages meaningful, exciting, and inspiring learning opportunities.
