Help to organise fundraising events, campaigns and initiatives to engage the community and raise awareness of Norfolk Clubhouse and its mission.

Detailed description

What will you be doing?

  • Implement fundraising strategies to support the financial sustainability of Norfolk Clubhouse.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, sponsors and community partners.
  • Help to organise fundraising events, campaigns and initiatives to engage the community and raise awareness of Norfolk Clubhouse and its mission.
  • Collaborate with the charity's founder and trustees to create compelling fundraising materials, including social media posts, newsletters and press releases.
  • Utilise online platforms and crowdfunding tools such as JustGiving and Giving is Human to reach a broader audience and increase donations to Norfolk Clubhouse.
  • Maintain accurate records of donors, donations, fundraising activities using our CRM system (Hubspot)
  • Provide regular updates and reports on fundraising progress to the Board of Trustees.

What are we looking for?

  • Understanding of the systems impacting on mental and physical health, beyond the individual.
  • Interest and energy in using your skills and abilities to advocate through fundraising for our Members.
  • Experience of fundraising, sales, marketing or related fields. 
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build rapport and engage with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in using Hubspot but training provided.
  • Ability to work alone and independently with support from our Team as required.
  • Ability to work flexibly around time commitments.

Your fundraising activities as part of our Fundraising Team, will help ensure our Members' receive the continued support they need to thrive, so that they can become community leaders and agents of change for the better.
