About Motor Neurone Disease Assocation - Kings Lynn Group
Run entirely by volunteers we arrange fundraising and awareness raising events in order to respond to local requests for financial support towards equipment or services that statutory services don't provide and, to enhance quality of life for those affected by motor neurone disease (MND). We have two Association Visitors (AV's) who offer practical and emotional support to people living with MND and their families. They attend local clinics and meetings alongside key local health care professionals and provide initial contact and ongoing support with people following diagnosis. We arrange support meetings to enable people with MND and their families to meet each other, although at present these are provided online.
