About Harleston Information Plus
Harleston Information Plus (HIP), registered as charity in 2012 to improve quality of life for residents in Harleston and the surrounding parishes. Our aims are to enhance equality of opportunity for people who experience complex and enduring barriers to participation and wellbeing.
We support people who present with long-term health issues, additional physical support needs and challenges associated with rural poverty, economic inactivity, loneliness and social isolation, with an average footfall of over 6,500 presentations per annum.
We provide a range of services including community information support, jobs club, befriending service and support a wide range of initiatives such as the Waveney Foodbank and Mindful Towns and Villages.
