Dereham Ukraine Aid Centre, centre volunteer.

There is always plenty for the volunteers to do.  

We need volunteers to help sort and pack clothes and other items.  

Make teas and coffees and help set out food donations. 

Interact with service users. 

And on occasion, be available for out of centre fundraising activities.  

You will be helping and supporting people in need from the local community as well as the migrant, refugee and asylum seeking communities. You will gain experience of volunteering in an intergenerational and multicultural community. (We use translation apps if our service users are not available to help with translation, so there is no need to speak other languages but any knowledge of other languages would be fantastic.) It's very rewarding and satisfying voluntary work.  

Please do come and join our fantastic team of volunteers and help support others, help the centre to run smoothly and make new connections and friends.  

(Please note that some of the work could take place upstairs and the toilets are also upstairs and there is no lift. )
