Summary
Guide visitors around the historic home of “Black Beauty” author, Anna Sewell, and explain how her novel helped change attitudes to animal welfare.Detailed description
If you are passionate about animals, you will probably know all about Redwings, where you can meet rescued horses, ponies, donkeys, and mules. But most of us will also know about the beautifully written novel, “Black Beauty” which has inspired tv series and films.
This role encourages you to combine both passions, guiding people around the home where author Anna Sewell was born. You will help visitors learn more about Redwings, Anna Sewell, and her novel and how it changed attitudes to horse and animal welfare!
Contact us at Cultural Connections if you are interested. There is an application form for this position but we will help you with this, should you need any assistance.
