Summary

Community Support Service Volunteers provide a vital service for people in the Bungay area who need support at home when they are having a hard time.

Detailed description

Volunteers can help people adjust when they come out of hospital or when they are having a hard time. Mostly people are needing a bit of help with some jobs around the house, collecting essentials or walking their dog if they cannot manage it themselves.

As a Community Support Service Volunteer, you can sign up for one off activities or activities supporting someone over a few weeks. You can choose activities based on your interests/location/availability.

30 minutes a week to help out someone in your community can make all the difference.

You will be supported throughout the recruitment process by a local Volunteer Connector. Some training will be required, a DBS check and we will need you to provide us with 2 references.
