Summary

Are you looking for a great way to meet new people and support a good cause, why not support Brain Tumour Research at Norwich's Charity Christmas Card Shop

Detailed description

What will you be doing?

You will be joining a group of volunteers at the Original Norwich Charity Christmas Card Shop, helping to re-stock shelves, chat with customers, take payments and raise awareness of the work of Brain Tumour Research.

When and where?

The shop is in St Peter Mancroft Church, opposite The Forum in Norwich City Centre. We are looking for a volunteer to help at the shop either weekly or bi-weekly from the 28th October until 9th December, 12:45pm - 15:15pm each Monday afternoon.

What support will you receive?

  • A full brief and induction prior to opening
  • A key contact at Brain Tumour Research
  • A branded t-shirt

Why we need you?

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet historically just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.

Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this.

We are the only national charity in the UK focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours through campaigning to increase the national investment in brain tumour research to £35 million per year, while fundraising to create a network of seven sustainable Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence across the UK.
