Summary

Join Brain Tumour Research bucket collecting at a number of locations across Norfolk, helping to raise vital funds to find a cure for all types of brain tumours

Detailed description

Why we need you?

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet historically just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.

Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this.

We are the only national charity in the UK focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours through campaigning to increase the national investment in brain tumour research to £35 million per year, while fundraising to create a network of seven sustainable Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence across the UK.

Bucket collections are not only a great way to raise much needed funds for the charity, but they also help us raise greater awareness of our cause.

What will you be doing?

You will be joining our team at a number of different locations around Norfolk such as supermarkets, shopping malls etc, holding a collection bucket and engaging with the public to secure donations and raise awareness of the work of Brain Tumour Research.

When and where?

We have a range of collections throughout the year and you can volunteer for anything from a a couple of hours, to half a day or even a whole day, whatever works for you.

What support will you receive?

  • A full brief and induction prior to the event
