Summary

We're looking a dedicated volunteer to support our workshops to navigate the menopause in collaboration with Panacea Pause Physiotherapist.

Detailed description

Thank you very much for your interest in volunteering with Age UK Norwich. Volunteering is an amazing way to give something back to your local community and our existing volunteers tell us they find volunteering an enjoyable and rewarding activity for a range of reasons, such as learning new skills and meeting new people.

All of our volunteer roles are subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

THE ROLE AND RESPONSBILITIES

We’ve teamed up with a Physiotherapist and Menopause Wellbeing Practitioner to empower and support women through informative workshops on menopause followed by an exercise class. These sessions are designed to enhance physical and emotional wellbeing during this important life transition.

We are seeking dedicated volunteers who are passionate about women's health, eager to make a positive impact in the community and to offer assistance during the workshops and exercise classes.

This role involves assisting the instructor to create a welcoming environment for clients, support with setting up and encourage participation. Volunteering provides a great opportunity for anyone interested in working with people in the community to really make a difference, be part of a community alongside like-minded individuals and gain valuable experience in menopause education. Knowledge and experience gained through this opportunity may be transferable for those looking to develop a career in community support, coaching and care.

If you're ready to make a positive impact and support women through their menopause journey, we would love to hear from you.
