We are looking for volunteers to expand our team so we can offer fun and adventure for more young people (4-18 years) here in NorwichDetailed description
As a volunteer you will work part of a team of volunteers. You can pick the age group you wish to work with - Squirrels 4-6, Beavers 6-8, Cubs 8-10, Scouts 10-14 or Explorers 14-18 years.
We meet regularly on a week night and the odd activity/adventure at weekends. We are totally flexible so if you cant make every meeting don't worry.
You don't need skills or training to get involved in Scouting. But we do offer a simple and easy to do (on your mobile/laptop) training, as well as a free DBS check and first aid training provided by us. There is also discount at a major outdoor brand too.
Volunteering is not only good for the young people and our local community but it also improves your wellbeing, gives you skills for the future, and helps you make new friends (and memories).
