Summary

Volunteers are needed to provide companionship and support for patients as well as assisting staff with non-clinical, practical tasks.

Detailed description

As a Patient Support Volunteer you would be providing companionship, company and support for patients as well as helping staff with tasks such as gathering meal choices and tidying non-clinical areas.


Volunteering for this role involves an ongoing commitment of approximately 2 hrs a week, including evenings and weekends.


To volunteer with us, we will need you to complete our volunteer recruitment, including our Volunteers' Induction Training, completing a Standard DBS check, and providing 2 character references.


You will be supported throughout your volunteering by a staff onsite and by your NCH&C Volunteer Coordinator.
