Detailed description
Would you like to use your Facebook Scrolling time in a more fulfilling and worthwhile way?
The Matthew Project are looking for an individual interested in supporting our incredible work through selling bespoke, handmade, upcycled and repaired items on Facebook Marketplace. Profits from the sale of these goods will allow us to continue our life saving work with children, adults, families and veterans affected by substance misuse and associated issues across Norfolk and beyond.
Some experience would be preferred as this is a specialist role, but support and training will be offered throughout your time with us.
A camera (smartphone is sufficient) and access to the internet is essential.
We expect this role to take 1-2 hours per week, although monitoring for messages is necessary from 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
This role will allow you to learn about the art of marketing and selling second hand items, liaising with potential customers and using Facebook Marketplace as a means of creating income.

About The Matthew Project
Our work benefits a wide range of people from a wide range of different backgrounds. We help these beneficiaries to achieve better physical and mental health, better relationships with others, and overall better quality of life, along with access to more opportunities.
As well as the individuals themselves, our work also creates social change and improvements to the local community in a range of different ways. These include improved family relationships and friendships, reductions in drug/alcohol misuse, reduced strain on local health and wellbeing services, reductions in rates of offending, and improved skills and employment outcomes for our service users, all of which help to regenerate the local community.
